Our Mission
We are a small, family-oriented business founded in 2009 by Coaches Horatiu and Kristina Sana. Our staff of qualified and experienced coaches are dedicated, professional and hardworking.
We offer a wide range of services including: Preschool Gymnastics, Boys and Girls Developmental Gymnastics, Tumbling, Extreme Gym, and of course our award-winning Boys and Girls Competition team! Class times range from 45 to 90 minutes while Competition team can practice up to 25 hours per week. Our classes are small (1:8 coach/student ratio), leading to a very intimate atmosphere.
Palmetto Gymnastics Academy is dedicated to developing a better gymnastics environment for the greater Golden Strip and surrounding areas. Our focus is to teach proper techniques in the sport of gymnastics in the safest and most enjoyable atmosphere possible. It is our goal to develop the body and mind of each student who walks in the door of Palmetto and to provide these services at the lowest possible price.
Gymnastic classes are a great way for students to learn discipline and flexibility in a fun and exciting team/group environment.
Gymnastics emphasizes the core concepts of self-respect, perseverance, determination, and team-building. It stimulates the brain and nervous system and is a great base point for other sports.
Gymnastics teaches confidence, coordination and strength, focus, inverted awareness, and hand-eye coordination.
