We are now OPEN for Summer Classes!
While we're excited to welcome everyone back, we know the threat of Covid-19 is still a very real thing. We
would like you to know the steps we're taking to keep our families and staff safe as we jump back into our
summer routines!
- We ask that parents make drop off and pick up as brief as possible and please do not "hang out" in the
lobby areas. Drop Offs will be in the front of the building while Pick Ups will take place on the side.
So that we can control the number of people in the building, please remain with your gymnast at your
vehicle until a coach comes to the door to call for your child's class. We will allow the parents of our
Preschool students to remain in the building during class. We ask that all others wait in their vehicles
if they desire to stay.
- We ask that all students bring his or her own water bottle (with name on it) plus a back pack or small
drawstring bag to each class. The water station will remain open to refill bottles but the drinking
fountain will be closed. Students will use their bag to carry all belongings with them on the gym floor
instead of using the cubbies. We have drawstring bags available in the front office for $10 if needed.
- All staff and students will wash their hands at the beginning and end of every class. Hand sanitizer
will be provided between each event during class.
- Please do not send your child to classes if he/she is not feeling well or has had a fever in the last 48
hours
- We have increased our cleaning of the gym. The gym area is deep cleaned nightly and sanitized throughout
the day while the lobby and bathrooms are sanitized hourly.
We thank you all for your continued support of our small business. With a positive attitude and some flexibility
we will continue to get through this together!

COVID-19 - A Message from Palmetto Gymnastics Academy Regarding Covid-19 - Please Read
We'd like to inform everyone of our current plans after the Governor's announcement today of the closing of
all SC schools. We will adhere to the following until April 5th or until otherwise instructed:
-
To avoid large gatherings in the building, the PGA competitive teams will be on an altered schedule. All
classes will remain at their current times. We ask that all parents make drop off and pick up as brief
as possible and to please not "hang around" the lobby areas. We will allow the parents of students 5
years old and younger to be in the building while their child is in class. We ask that all others wait
in their vehicles if they desire to stay.
-
We ask that all students bring his or her own water bottle to the gym with their name on it. The water
station will remain open to refill bottles but the drinking fountain will be closed.
-
All staff and students will wash their hands before entering class, after each event, and before
leaving. We also have hand sanitizer and wipes if needed.
-
We have increased our cleaning of the gym. The gym area is cleaned every night while the lobby areas and
bathrooms will be wiped down every hour and deep cleaned every night.
-
Please do not send your child to classes if he/she is not feeling well or has had a fever in the last 48
hours. Our normal Make Up policy is in effect for any and all classes missed during this period, and you
are welcome to contact the front office in future for available class options.
Thank you in advance for your continued support of our small business. With a positive attitude and some
flexibility we can get through this together.
